Nicki Minaj kicked her guest Joe Budden off a recent broadcast of her Beats 1 show, Queen Radio, after they got into a heated discussion.
According to Billboard, Budden was invited to guest on the radio show’s one-year anniversary episode along with his podcast co-hosts Rory and Mal. The recording session initially started out mellow until Budden started to address Minaj’s recent collab with Megan Thee Stallion, describing the rollout for their new song “Hot Girl Summer” as “calculated.” However, Minaj refuted his claims, saying that her addition to the joint track was last minute and spontaneous.
Things got even more heated when Budden accused the “Megatron” rapper of being on drugs last year. “Don’t sit here and act like you’ve never popped a pill,” he said, which promptly blew Minaj’s top.
“I never said that, you dumb fuck!” she yelled at Budden before asking her producers to “cut his fucking mic.” Minaj later added that Budden enjoyed “tearing down women when they can’t defend themselves” and was surprised to find out that “his ego was that out of control.” Following Budden’s dismissal, Minaj continued the show with Rory and Mal.
