A new docu-series about Tekashi 6ix9ine is coming to Snapchat

It will chronicle the rapper’s year-long court drama.

Snapchat has announced that it’s currently working on a brand-new documentary series that chronicles the life of Tekashi 6ix9ine.

The original series, titled Tekashi 6ix9ine VS the World, will be produced by Complex Networks. It will trace “the rise and fall of Tekashi 6ix9ine from his days growing up in Brooklyn, through his chart-topping career and star-studded collaborations,” Variety reports. The show will also look into the rapper’s ongoing legal saga against his former gang associates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. Episode details have not been revealed but each is reportedly only five-minutes long.

The 6ix9ine docu-series will be the first installment of Snapchat’s new VS the World series, a franchise that centers on the hip hop, sports and the entertainment world. It is slated to premiere on the social media app later this fall.

Other shows coming to Snapchat include Nikita Unfiltered, a series that follows transgender beauty guru Nikita Dragun, and Everything’s Fine, a scripted comedy show featuring music from Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.
