Netflix’s Drake-produced ‘Top Boy’ Season 3 looks intense AF

Rappers Little Simz and Dave join the series’ revival.

During his performance at the O2 Arena in London earlier this week, Drake took the time to unveil the gripping first trailer for Top Boy, an upcoming Netflix series he executive produced.

The British crime drama, which originally aired on Channel 4 for two seasons, picks up six years after the show’s cancellation in 2013. It follows Ashley Walters and Kane “Kano” Robinson, the series’ OG cast members, as they reprise their roles as drug dealers Dushane and Sully. Creator Ronan Bennett and the show’s original creative team also returned to helm the production, alongside Drizzy and his business partner Adel “Future” Nur.

The latest installment of Top Boy also includes new additions to the cast line-up, Netflix confirmed. Rappers Little Simz, Dave and newcomer Michael Wards will join Walters and Robinson as they face east London’s gritty street culture.
