Nechie and Gunna flex poolside in the video for their latest collaboration, “Stackin it.”
The track appeared on Nechie’s latest project, Shady Baby, which Gunna executive-produced. In the clip, the two Atlanta natives rap about their success and flaunt their achievements—Gunna shows off various album sales certification plaques, including those for Drip or Drown 2 and Young Thug’s So Much Fun, which he guested on.
The artists also hang by the pool with several bikini-clad women. “Poor high-class n***a, ain’t average / Burnin’ these trees like they calories / Plaques in my crib like a gallery / Doggin’ these hoes, I eat Pedigree / My necklace negative 4 degrees,” Gunna boasts.
“We grew up together, right across the street from each other and have been making music since we were young,” Nechie told Complex of his friendship with Gunna. “Collaborating for us is just something we have always done. When we play our songs for each other we already know to bring our hardest verse. We really push each other to bring our best.”
Nechie released Shady Baby last month. It also featured collaborations with Lil Durk and Yak Gotti.
