NAV and Gunna have reunited in a cultish visual for their 2020 collab, “Young Wheezy.”
Directed by Spike Jordan, the video opens at a haunted mansion where a group of excited fans gather in hopes to meet their favorite rappers. But to gain entry to this mysterious concert, they must first provide a severed limb.
Inside, NAV and Gunna stand on a bloody altar that’s made out of dismembered bodies while their devotees watch them as if in a trance. Keep an eye out for a brief appearance by Travis Scott.
“Oh, they fresh out a coffin, don’t know why they talkin’ / Got power like Austin, they cap with a gown,” Gunna raps on the chorus. “These rappers is exhaustin’, that ho shit gon’ cost ’em / They wet like a faucet, I look like a fountain.”
“Young Wheezy” appears on NAV and producer Wheezy’s joint mixtape, Emergency Tsunami, which arrived last November. Marking the first release from their newly formed duo, the Tsunami Boys, the 14-track project also featured collaborations with Young Thug, Lil Baby, Lil Keed and SahBabii.
