Nas golfs with DJ Khaled in video for “27 Summers”

The ‘King’s Disease’ cut gets a lavish visual treatment.

Nas has released a video for “27 Summers,” featuring DJ Khaled, from his King’s Disease LP.

The New York rapper enjoys the finer things in life in the lavish visual, which also features a look at his many gold records, Rolls Royce and luxurious home. The clip also includes scenes from a Miami golfing trip that he took with DJ Khaled.

The hip hop moguls toast glasses of Hennessey on the green and celebrate Nas’ 27-year-old career. “Ain’t that many people did 27 summers of anything,” Khaled says to Nas in the MV. “King’s Disease is just the beginning of the decade, this the new chapter. What we did before has been done, and Nas is living proof of it.”

Later in the clip, Nas gives shoutouts to his colleagues and label signees. “Bitch, I’m in a good mood, good group pulled me up / Mass Appeal, movies and music, sign with us / All my n***as millionaires, G-Code know what’s up / What up, Jung? What up, Stoute? What up, Ant? What up, East? / What they say about us?” he spits.

Back in November, Nas’ King’s Disease was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2021 Grammys. He previously released visuals for album cuts such as “Replace Me,” “Spicy” and “Ultra Black.”
