Nas gathers star-studded line-up for ‘The Lost Tapes 2’

Featuring Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Swizz Beatz and more.

Nas has announced the star-studded tracklist and release date for The Lost Tapes 2, the long-awaited sequel to 2002’s The Lost Tapes.

Arriving July 19, the 16-track compilation will feature unreleased songs from the rapper’s last four albums: Hip Hop is Dead (2006), Untitled (2008), Life is Good (2012) and last year’s Nasir. The tracklist includes production from heavyweights like Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, RZA, Statik Selektah, The Alchemist and more.

The rapper previously teamed up with Mary J Blige on the empowering single, “Thriving.” Next Thursday, the duo will embark on their joint Royalty Tour, which opens at Florida’s West Palm Beach.

Alongside the compilation’s announcement, Nas also dropped a trailer for the record that features a snippet of “Lost Freestyle,” produced by Statik Selektah. Watch it here:
