Nas, Future link up on DJ Esco’s “Walk Thru”

The two rappers bridge their generation gap on the new single off Esco’s forthcoming album.

DJ Esco is hyping up his imminent studio album, Kolorblind, with a release of yet another single off it. Dropped yesterday, “Walk Thru” features two rappers who changed the game in their respective eras: Nas and Future.

If you’re thinking Future’s AutoTune-d rhymes won’t match with Nas’ old-school, lyrical bars, you’d be wrong. Sure, Esco’s beat is a little too skittering for Nas, but the MC handles the verses, about dealing drugs, like the pro he is. Future, meanwhile, does what he does best: hold down the hook with his trademark syrupy flow.

Nas and Future are just two hip hop stars Esco recruited on his album—the entire record’s filled with ’em. Young Thug, Rich the Kid, OT Genasis, Ty Dolla $ign, Schoolboy Q… they’re all on Kolorblind, which drops tomorrow.
