Mozzy is on a roll: Shortly after dropping his “Omertà” collab with Spendoe, the Sacramento rapper has returned with a brand-new loosie titled “Tunnel Vision.”
Produced by JabariOnTheBeat, the song is a moving ode to brotherhood and familial love. Mozzy even pays tribute to his late grandmother, who raised him when his father was incarcerated. “I miss you, Miss Levine, yeah, that’s my mother mom / It was time she tried to save me from this Vietnam,” he raps over the piano-driven melody. “I still be feelin’ guilty ’bout my granny death / Ain’t get to spend the time I wanted ’fore my granny left.”
“Tunnel Vision” arrived alongside a music video that captures Mozzy chilling out on an empty rooftop with his crew and eldest daughter, Ariana-Dooterz. The rapper also shows off a golden pendant that features a portrait of his grandmother.
Last year, Mozzy dropped his album, Internal Affairs, which boasted contributions from Lil Poppa, Don Q, Sada Baby and Sage The Gemini, among others.
