Moneybagg Yo has unveiled the visual for his J Cole-assisted track, “Say Na.”
The video follows Moneybagg making various pit stops around his hometown of Memphis. The rapper gets turnt at a laundromat, hands out cash to children and throws a fancy feast in a warehouse, all while dropping serious heat. “They say I’m takin’ the spot, yeah / Fuck, I’ll take up a stock, more / The rumors (no new ones) / Outdated (outdated, outdated),” he raps. Cole jumps in midway—in an outfit that matches Moneybagg’s, no less—to deliver his verse.
In an interview with HotNewHipHop, Moneybagg discussed his link-up with the Grammy-nominated rapper. “[Cole and I] bumped into each other in the [studio] hallway, but I didn’t think he was going to come in the room when I asked him to come in the room. I was like, ‘I’m workin’ on my first album, I want you to a part of it,’” he said. “I ain’t think he was going to come in there, I ain’t gon’ lie, but he came right behind me in less than three or four minutes.”
“Say Na” appears on Moneybagg’s debut album, Reset, which landed November 2 on Interscope Records.
