Migos have teased their highly anticipated sequel to 2018’s Culture II with a behind-the-scenes trailer.
Earlier this week, the Atlanta trio celebrated the three-year anniversary of Culture II with a three-minute Instagram video captioned “The Process of 3.” “Take Em Back To The Day To Day @migos Lifestyle,” they wrote in the Instagram video caption. “Take This Journey With Us! The Album Is Coming.”
The BTS clip chronicles Quavo, Offset and Takeoff’s respective solo endeavors in the past year before they eventually met up in the studio to work on the next Migos album. “It’s time for us to crack down and bond and know about our business, and just time to get everything squared away,” Quavo says in the video.
Migos had previously promised to drop Culture III last year but postponed the release due to the pandemic, Complex reported. They had earlier previewed the album with the tracks “Taco Tuesday,” “Racks 2 Skinny” and “Need it” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
2020 also saw the group embroiled in several legal dramas. In July, they filed a complaint against their longtime attorney for professional malpractice, and later Takeoff was accused of sexual assault.
