Megan Thee Stallion drops self-directed “Captain Hook” video

A typical day in the studio for Meg.

Megan Thee Stallion has unleashed a self-directed clip for “Captain Hook,” a cut off her latest album Suga.

The clip opens on Meg hustling in the studio, penning her own lyrics. With support from her enthusiastic hypewoman, the rapper finishes the song and jumps into the booth to deliver the heat: “Ayy, bitch, I’m a problem nobody solvin’ / You can keep hating, I’m poppin’ regardless.” She later calls on her hot girl friends for a twerk session in the studio, which turns into a massive rager. You know, just another ordinary day in the studio for Meg.

In a recent interview with Spotify, Megan said that Suga showcases a new side of her personality. “The inspiration behind this project is just to let people know that I’m not perfect and I never claimed to be perfect,” she said. “I just want everybody to strive to be the best person that they can be and not what they think everybody wants them to be. Suga is me introducing one of the many personalities that’s going inside my head.”
