Megan Thee Stallion, Bobby Sessions unveil “I’m a King”

The song is featured on the ‘Coming 2 America’ soundtrack.

Megan Thee Stallion and Dallas rapper Bobby Sessions have teamed up on the energetic new single “I’m a King” for the Coming 2 America soundtrack.

On the track, the two Texas rappers spit lines about being royalty—in reference to the plot of the upcoming movie—over a bouncy beat produced by BL$$ED and AJRuinedMyRecord. Meg spits: “I’m a queen, I’m a queen, I’m a queen / Wear a lot of gold, but I get a lot of green / Lookin’ at the boy, I’m the most important piece / ’Cause you can’t win the game if you ain’t got me.”

“I’m a king, I’m a king, I’m a king / Where the throne at? Lеt me take a seat / Give me all that, give me what I need / When I fall back, give it to my seed,” Sessions replies.

“I’m a King” marks Megan’s first new single of 2021. Earlier this year, she appeared on the remix of Ariana Grande’s “34+35” and released the video for “Cry Baby” with DaBaby, a cut from her debut album, Good News.

Coming 2 America, which stars Eddie Murphy, hits Amazon Prime on March 5. While you wait, listen to “I’m a King” below:
