Meek Mill drops gripping “Oodles o’ Noodles Babies” MV

The rapper calls out the vicious cycle of America’s criminal justice system.

Meek Mill has released a powerful video for “Oodles o’ Noodles Babies,” which shows how mass incarceration affects families in poor urban neighborhoods.

The Will Ngo-directed clip opens with an introspective title card: “It’s the conditions in which you plant your seeds that determine how they will grow.” It cuts to a young boy in 2006, whose father is soon arrested and sent to jail for a robbery gone wrong. The visual then jumps to the present day, where the boy has become a father, too, but seems destined to repeat history.

“Oodles o’ Noodles Babies” is a cut from Meek’s latest album, Champions, which also features songs like “Intro” and “Trauma.”
