MED, Guilty Simpson drop joint album, ‘Child of the Jungle’

With contributions by Madlib, Apollo Brown and Georgia Anne Muldrow, among others.

Hip hop duo MED and Guilty Simpson’s first-ever joint album, Child of the Jungle, is out now.

The rappers have worked together before, notably on “Jungle Love” from J Dilla’s 2006 album The Shining. This marks their first collaborative full-length project, after last year’s Loyalty EP.

The 16-track record boasts an extensive production roster: Madlib—MED’s mentor—leads the way, followed by Apollo Brown, Karriem Rigging, Nottz, 14KT, Exile and Premethius.

Contributing singers and rappers include Georgia Anne Muldrow, Kokane and Black Shakespeare, not to mention Loyalty collaborators Joyce Wrice, Blu and J Mitchell.
