Max B keeps his momentum going with “Don’t Push Me”

‘Coke Wave 4’ is coming.

Max B continues his return to music with the nostalgic single, “Don’t Push Me,” featuring French Montana.

On the song, the New York rapper flows effortlessly over the bouncy beat, which samples Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s classic “The Message.” Montana joins in halfway through with a fierce verse: “No love lost, baby, just don’t push us / It’s like a jungle sometimes it make me wonder / Why you wanna see me under in a cell with a number.”

“My agenda was to attract the older fanbase who now listen to today’s music and are like, ‘Nah, I’m not listening to that shit,’ ’cause they can’t relate to it,” Max B said in a statement. “I’m trying to put some of that old flavor in with this new revolution we got going on.”

“Don’t Push Me” follows last week’s “Hold On,” which was the Max B’s first single in eight years. Both tracks are set to feature on his upcoming Coke Wave 4 mixtape.
