Max B celebrates his birthday with comeback track, “Hold On”

Featuring French Montana.

Max B has released his first song in eight years, “Hold On,” featuring French Montana.

The New York rapper, who has been incarcerated since 2009, turned 41 yesterday and dropped the song to celebrate the occasion. The Paul Couture-produced track juggles ’90s house sounds and bubbly synths, and even interpolates “Nothing Can Come Between Us” by Sade.

The track follows Max B’s 2011 project Vigilante Season, and is one of multiple new songs the rapper will release this year, Rolling Stone reports.
