Machine Gun Kelly unveils video for “Why Are You Here”

His “pop punk album” is on the way.

Machine Gun Kelly has released a video for “Why Are You Here.”

In the clip, directed by Miles and AJ, the Cleveland-born rapper jams on a guitar with bloodied eyes, as he sings about an old, soured relationship. “I hate that I saw you last night / You were with somebody and so was I / Met you in the bathroom at 12:05 / And I fucked you again / We can never be friends,” he sings.

“Why Are You Here,” which arrived late last year, is the first taste of MGK’s forthcoming album, Tickets to My Downfall. The record is set to be the rapper’s first-ever “pop punk album,” he previously said in a tweet, following a slew of hip hop releases.
