Machine Gun Kelly brings ‘Tickets to My Downfall’ to ‘SNL’

Watch him perform “My Ex’s Best Friend” and “Lonely.”

Machine Gun Kelly recently made an appearance on Saturday Night Live to perform songs from his latest album Tickets to My Downfall.

The rapper—dressed in a black-and-pink outfit complete with a matching guitar—kicked things off with “My Ex’s Best Friend”: “First off, I’m not sorry, I won’t apologize to nobody / You play like I’m invisible, girl, don’t act like you ain’t saw me / Last year was a mess and how I acted was beyond me / But the past still revolves me, you text me, I ain’t responding.”

The Cleveland musician returned later in the show to perform the emotionally-charged “Lonely,” which reflects on his relationship with his late father and aunt. “The last time I saw you / I cried, I wish you had more time left / The last time I heard you / They held the phone, you took your last breath,” Kelly sang.

Kelly closed out the episode with hugs from guest host John Krasinski and the rest of the SNL cast. However, Kelly accidentally fell off the stage and hilariously dragged comedian Pete Davidson down with him. Catch that moment below:
