Ludacris taps Lil Wayne for “SOTL (Silence of the Lambs)”

The collaboration was first played on Luda’s ‘Verzuz’ battle with Nelly.

Ludacris and Lil Wayne have joined forces on a new Timbaland-produced song, “SOTL (Silence of the Lambs).” The collaboration was previewed during Luda and Nelly’s virtual battle on the Instagram Live series Verzuz, earlier this month.

On the bouncy song, Ludacris drops references to comedian Roseanne Barr and footballer Colin Kaepernick. “Stand for what you believe in like Kaepernick / You either in control or you gettin’ fucked, no abstinence / Huh, it’s not enough blacks in the drivin’ seat like a Nascar / Why? ’Cause most racist people still drinkin’ at Roseanne’s bar.”

Later in the track, Weezy hops in with the Auto-Tuned chorus: “Goin’ brazy in the Lamb / I don’t give a damn, bitch fuck the ’Gram / Uh, anytime the GOAT speak / All the GOAT need is silence of the lambs, bitch.”

Last month, Ludacris teamed up with Lil Jon and Usher for “Sex Beat.” On the other hand, Lil Wayne previously dropped videos for “Piano Trap,” “Not Me” and “Mama Mia,” all cuts from his Funeral LP.
