Love gets complicated in Bas’ “Fragrance” video

When a one-night stand doesn’t go the way it should.

Bas recently shared the visual for “Fragrance,” a cut from his third studio album, Milky Way.

Directed by NYC-based filmmaker Paul Trillo, the comical video finds the Dreamville rapper in a troubled romance, one that evolves from a flirty one-night affair into an obsessive relationship. He spends most of the video trying to get his girl “off [his] nuts,” by hiding behind window blinds and avoiding phone calls. At one point, the rapper even files for harassment, but fails.

“Man this chick won’t leave me alone, leave me alone yeah / I tried to put her on my bro, on my bro yeah / But she still came back, came back yeah,” he raps.

The music video dropped just in time to tease Bas’ upcoming Milky Way North American tour, which begins next month in New Orleans. The 43-city trek will wrap up in February at Nashville’s Exit/In. Check out the rest of his tour deets here.
