Logic shares triumphant new single, “Get Up”

Ahead of his upcoming mixtape, ‘Bobby Tarantino III.’

Logic continues his return with his new single, “Get Up.”

On the triumphant PoST- and 6ix-produced single, the Maryland rapper rhymes about persevering in the face of adversity and counting on his family and team to help him push forward.

“Every time I fall, you know I get up / Try to keep me down but I get up / Y’all say what you want but I’mma get up,” he spits in the chorus.

The single arrives a few weeks after Logic announced his return to music after ostensibly retiring from rap last July. The 31-year-old teased on social media that the next project he’ll release will be the third installment of his fan favorite mixtape series, Bobby Tarantino. He previously shared “Vaccine,” which is thought to be the first song off the project. Earlier this year, he and producer Madlib also reunited to drop off a new MadGic song called “Mafia Music.”

Logic’s last Bobby Tarantino mixtape, Bobby Tarantino II, arrived in 2018. Last year, he released what was billed as his final album, No Pressure.
