Logic drops new freestyle, announces new album

The Maryland rapper announced the arrival of ‘Young Sinatra IV’ during a freestyle.

After dropping an album last year and a mixtape earlier in March, Logic is due to return with even more music. In a freestyle video, he detailed the arrival of his forthcoming record, Young Sinatra IV.

Titled “YSIV Freestyle,” the clip finds the Maryland native standing in an empty white room as he spits rhymes over Method Man’s 1994 hit, “Bring the Pain.” The rapper takes shots at his haters and boasts about his success, proclaiming that he’s “one of the illest” in the rap game. “Let the haters kick rocks / My flow is tip top; I never flip flop, why? / ’Cause my soul too strong,” he raps.

Towards the end of the freestyle, Logic indicates that his new album drops next month: “‘Young Sinatra IV,’ the album. September 28th. Bringing that boom bap back for the Rattpack.”
