Listen to Trippie Redd’s new song, “Sleepy Hollow”

Just in the time for Halloween.

Trippie Redd has continued to tease his forthcoming Pegasus album with a brand-new track, “Sleepy Hollow.”

Produced by frequent Lil Uzi Vert collaborator Tobias Dekker (aka Outtatown), the song is brief but potent. Over a menacing beat, the Ohio rapper makes references to Washington Irving’s 1820 short story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, comparing himself to the Headless Horseman’s killer and referencing the anime Bleach at the same time.

“Feel like Ichigo, n***a, I’m a hollow / Talk down on the gang, you can get some hollows / Leave a n***a head lit, Sleepy Hollow / Pull up in a Dark Knight Murciélago,” he spits on the chorus.

Pegasus, due out on October 30, is the follow-up to Redd’s 2019 chart-topping album, A Love Letter to You 4. In February, he released a deluxe version of the LP featuring eight new tracks which included collaborations with Chance the Rapper, Lil Tecca, Lil Durk and G Herbo.

Other tracks expected to appear on Pegasus are “Excitement” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and the Busta Rhymes-assisted “I Got You.” Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Quavo and more will also feature on the record.

“Sleepy Hollow” dropped alongside a spooky lyric video just in time for Halloween. Check it out below:
