Topaz Jones kicked off 2019 with “Milan,” an off-the-wall freestyle over Ravyn Lenae’s groovy R&B bop, “Sticky.”
The New Yorker keeps it short and sweet as he spits lines over the funky instrumental, deriving his rhymes from the original song’s lyrics.
The rapper is keeping his momentum up with this brief release, following three double-sided singles last year and 2016’s Arcade, his critically acclaimed debut album. Here’s hoping this means we’ll hear more from him this year.
