Listen to Lil B’s “All One Me BASED FREESTYLE”

An homage to former nemesis A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

It looks like Lil B and A Boogie wit da Hoodie have officially settled their differences: The BasedGod has just dropped “All One Me BASED FREESTYLE,” and it’s a spin on his former rival’s breakthrough hit, “Drowning.”

The feud kicked off at last year’s Rolling Loud Bay Area festival, when Lil B claimed that A Boogie and his crew attacked him backstage and stole his equipment, forcing the rapper to cancel his set. But B’s quick to forgive, as it turns out.

At first, “Drowning”—with its melancholic, piano-driven beat, produced by Jahaan Sweet—seems like an odd choice for a freestyle. However, in Lil B’s case, anything works (he is the man known for peculiar tracks like “I’m Miley Cyrus” and “Wonton Soup,” after all). “Searchin’ through my mind, lookin’ through the waves / Had to cut the waves, had to get right,” he raps on the opening verse.

“All One Me BASED FREESTYLE” will appear on Lil B’s upcoming mixtape, Options. It’s not confirmed when the project will arrive, so in the meantime, let the BasedGod bless your ears:
