Listen to Jeremih’s new EP, ‘The Chocolate Box’

To titillate fans before releasing his joint album with Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih dropped an EP of four slow, sensual R&B jams.

He’s been teasing his joint album with Ty Dolla $ign for months now, but Jeremih on Friday gave fans something else to chew on. The R&B artist released The Chocolate Box, an EP of four sultry tunes that are perfect for the bedroom.

There are no guest features on The Chocolate Box—only Jeremih’s AutoTune-d warble drives the quartet of tracks that pays homage to ’90s R&B. “Forever I’m Ready,” for instance, samples liberally from H-Town’s “Knockin’ Da Boots” and Tupac’s “Keep Ya Head Up,” with the Chicago-based musician adding his smoldering kiss to the track.

So, with the release date for Jeremih’s project with Ty Dolla $ign, MihTy, still a mystery, excuse us while we dig into The Chocolate Box for now.
