Listen to Jack Harlow’s chaotic new single, “What’s Poppin”

It’s accompanied by a visual directed by Cole Bennett.

Rising Louisville rapper Jack Harlow has released a brand-new song, “What’s Poppin,” which arrived alongside a Cole Bennett-directed video.

The track is produced by JetsonMade and Pooh Beatz, who both worked on DaBaby’s hit song “Suge (Yea Yea).” Over the bouncy trap production, Harlow delivers egotistical bars about his wealth and lifestyle. “In the ’Ville and I move like a don / Eating fettuccine at Vincenzo’s / Me and my ’migos got that free smoke / On the West Coast, yeah, I’m talking ’bout pre-rolls,” he rhymes.

In the accompanying clip, Bennett brings Harlow’s braggadocious lyrics to life, opening at a diner where Harlow and his crew wreak havoc. They vibe out in the restaurant, dig into plates of pasta and enjoy a game of darts.

Last September, Harlow dropped the mixtape Confetti, which featured the tracks “Heavy Hitter” and “Thru the Night.” According to Billboard, the rapper is currently working on his debut album, which is due out later this year.
