Listen to A$AP Rocky, Lil Peep’s songs for the new ‘GoT’ album

‘Game of Thrones’ fever is real.

Winter has arrived, and so has a brand-new compilation of music inspired by Game of Thrones. Titled For the Throne, the genre-spanning collection features some notable hip hop tracks: “Too Many Gods” by A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$ and Ty Dolla $ign’s remix of the late Lil Peep’s “When I Lie,” not to mention the previously released “Power is Power” by SZA, The Weeknd and Travis Scott.

“Too Many Gods”—which was co-produced by Nate Mercereau and Ricky Reed—is a dour, downtempo cut on which Rocky and Bada$$ brood about power struggles. Lil Peep’s posthumous contribution is actually a remix of an old, unreleased track—also titled “When I Lie”—from his Goth Angel Sinner EP, which leaked after his death in November 2017. Ty takes cues from Peep’s delivery and slows things down for a more somber, though no less melodic, verse.
