A new posthumous Juice WRLD song titled “Real Shit” has been released.
The song was released on Wednesday, December 2, which would have been Juice’s 22nd birthday. “Real Shit” was produced by Juice’s close friend and frequent collaborator Benny Blanco, who wrote about the recording process of the track on Instagram.
“The first song we ever recorded was ‘Real Shit.’ It was the first time i saw his magic,” Blanco recalled. “The whole room dropped their jaws and watched him in awe… we knew we were in the room with a man who was going to change music forever.”
“He was an absolute genius to say the least but above all he was one of the kindest and most considerate people i have ever met. He was my friend… happy birthday juice… we miss u,” he added.
Earlier this year, Juice’s label released his first posthumous album, Legends Never Die, which included features from The Weeknd, Trippie Redd, The Kid LAROI, Marshmello and Halsey. A second posthumous full-length Juice WRLD album is also in the works, according to a close friend Lil Bibby.
