Chynna’s family have released a new song by the late Philadelphia rapper called “Burnout.”
It was released on April 8, the one-year anniversary of her death at the age of 25 from an accidental drug overdose. “Burnout, burnout / burnt out, burnt out,” she repeats on the chorus of the woozy track, which was produced by Kirk Knight.
“On the anniversary of Chynna’s passing, we are happy to present ‘Burnout,’ a song in her celebration,” her family and estate said of the song on Instagram.
“Burnout” is the second song from Chynna that has been posthumously released, following “Stupkid” which dropped on what would have been her 26th birthday last year (August 19).
