Lil Yachty’s “Royal Rumble” MV spotlights Michigan’s rap scene

Featuring cameos from Icewear Vezzo, Babyface Ray and more.

Lil Yachty has unveiled the video for his latest song “Royal Rumble,” featuring Michigan’s up-and-coming rappers.

Among the Wolverine State natives are Detroit emcees Icewear Vezzo and Babyface Ray, as well as Flint’s Krispylife Kidd, RMC Mike and Rio Da Yung OG. DC2Trill, who hails from Texas, also appears on the posse cut to deliver his own cocky bars. “Ever since the cash came legit, I’m buying opps now / N***a shook his drank up, it made the pop sound / The lean plug finna retire, I need a doc now,” he spits.

Yachty’s new video dropped shortly after the rapper announced that he will be producing an upcoming heist movie based on the popular card game UNO. Set to take place in Atlanta’s hip hop scene, the film will also be produced by Quality Control’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “P” Thomas and Brian Sher.
