Lil Yachty, Trippie Redd represent day and night in “66” video

The rappers star in a split-screen visual.

Lil Yachty and Trippie Redd’s collab “66” has finally received the visual it deserves. The video, co-directed by Drew Kirsch, Mihailo Andic and Yachty himself, features the duo in a split-screen narrative.

Lil Yachty’s scenes are shot in broad daylight in contrast to Redd’s gloomier, nighttime sequences. The former lives the life of luxury as he cruises around his ’hood, flexing his sleek Bentley and taking selfies with fans. And on the flip side, we see Redd venturing through the wilderness after dusk, carrying a torched baseball bat and setting his surroundings ablaze. ?

“66” is lifted from Lil Yachty’s latest album, Lil Boat 2, which arrived earlier in March.
