Lil Wayne swings by ‘Colbert’ to perform “Don’t Cry”

The XXXTentacion-assisted cut from ‘Tha Carter V.'

Lil Wayne made his debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week with a straightforward rendition of “Don’t Cry.”

At the beginning of the performance, Weezy’s DJ dedicated the emotional Tha Carter V track—which features the deceased XXXTentacion—to the “lost ones,” entreating the crowd to put their hands up. The rapper, cozy in a beanie and fur coat, stood at the microphone for most of the performance, delivering his bars with focus and panache.
