On Sunday, Lil Uzi announced on Twitter that the new Eternal Atake song is a “dance record” and will be released next year. He also shared a sneak peek of the track with a clip of himself executing some fancy footwork, which he dubbed the “futsal shuffle.”

2019 has been a frustrating year for Lil Uzi, to say the least. In April, the Philly rapper publically aired his frustrations with his old record label Generation Now. He claimed that its co-founders, DJ Drama and Don Cannon, were the reason behind his abrupt retirement announcement in January and the delay of Eternal Atake.
Earlier this year, the rapper dropped the song “Free Uzi” and followed it up with two more solo singles, “Sanguine Paradise” and “That’s a Rack.” It is not yet confirmed if any of the previously released songs will appear on Uzi’s forthcoming sophomore album.
