Lil Uzi Vert links up with Shabazz PBG on new song, “Shells”

Did the Philly rapper also reveal that he might leave Atlantic?

Lil Uzi Vert has teamed up with Shabazz PBG to deliver a new song “Shells,” along with a music video.

The track opens with Lil Uzi issuing threats to his enemies, promising to send them to hell if they ever try to provoke him. Clearly, Shabazz’s got the same ideas, too, as he enters with a gangster verse about his gun collection: “Glock 27, got it custom with the rail / N***as playin’, Imma deal wit em’ / AR wit’ a hunnid, Imma still get ’em.”

But the highlight of the song comes during the third verse when Lil Uzi hints at his plans of leaving his current label Atlantic Records. “Tryna figure out how I’m gon’ get out my deal,” he spits. “I’m a bad boy, a reverend, I feel like I’m Ma$e.”
