Lil Uzi Vert has gotten himself a pink diamond worth $24 million implanted in his forehead.
The rapper announced his plans to embed the gem onto his face last week after he made a million-dollar purchase from celebrity jeweler Elliot Eliantte. “I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now. This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond,” Lil Uzi tweeted, adding that the stone was at least “10 carats.”
He then teased a photo of himself with the diamond held to his forehead with the caption: “I’m so natural.”

Shortly after, the Philadelphia rapper uploaded a video of himself showing off his sparkly new body modification. “Beauty is pain,” Lil Uzi wrote on the post, although he later updated on Twitter that his forehead was bleeding. “If I don’t get it took out the right way, I could die…. No, seriously,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

According to XXL, Lil Uzi isn’t the first rapper to get gems embedded in their face. Just last month, Houston rapper Sauce Walka implanted a diamond in his cheek.
On the music front, Lil Uzi released his long-awaited sophomore album Eternal Atake in March last year. He later teamed up with Future for their joint project Pluto x Baby Pluto, which received a deluxe edition in November.
