Lil Pump has issued an apology for using racial slurs about in a teaser for his song “Butterfly Doors.”

Pump took to Instagram to address the controversy, posting a quick video apologizing for the incident. “I came here to tell you from my part that I’m sorry and I apologize for posting that. It was not my intentions to hurt nobody or do none of that,” he said. “I got Asian homies, you know. I fuck with everybody and I got nothing against nobody. It’s all love.”

The casual apology appears to be the “Gucci Gang” rapper’s way of stemming the backlash from the Asian community. Already, the likes of Awkwafina, China Mac, and Li Yijie have called Pump out online.
