Lil Nas X teases debut album ‘Montero’ with Marvel-esque trailer

It also teased an unreleased song called “Industry Baby.”

Lil Nas X has teased his upcoming debut album Montero with a Marvel-esque trailer.

The trailer features snippets of past Lil Nas music videos such as “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and “Old Town Road,” stylised in a way that emulates the opening credits of Marvel’s blockbuster movies. It ends with a title card that reads “Montero The Album,” alongside a preview of a new track called “Industry Baby.” “Couple Grammys on him / Couple plaques, eh / That’s a fact, eh / Throw it back, eh,” Lil Nas spits.

Lil Nas did not confirm a release date, but only said that the album was “coming soon.”

The rapper has dropped the singles “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” and “Sun Goes Down” in anticipation of the forthcoming LP. In 2019, he released the 7 EP, which featured “Old Town Road,” “Panini” and more.
