Lil Nas X has shared a wild video for his new single “Industry Baby,” which features Jack Harlow over production by Take a Daytrip and Kanye West.
Lil Nas had teased the video with a prelude that sees him in court over his ‘Satan shoes,’ a promotional creation for his earlier single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” that led, in real life, to a lawsuit by Nike.
The “Industry Baby” video begins with Lil Nas being sentenced to prison, continuing in characteristically flamboyant fashion, complete with raunchy dance sequences and bright pink prison jumpsuits. It ends with Lil Nas leading a prison break, freeing all the inmates—including featured guest Harlow.
Lil Nas had teased the song earlier this month in the trailer for his album Montero, which mimicked Marvel’s iconic opening sequence. A release date for the record—which will be his first full-length—has yet to be confirmed.
