Lil Durk gets reflective on his new track, “No Label,” which chronicles a failing relationship.
The Chicago rapper starts the song with a caveat to pre-empt the blogs and tabloids: “I made this song about another n***a feelings… What he’s going through with his bitch… He’s actually one of my dogs.”
After establishing that the song’s not strictly autobiographical, Durk lets loose: “We ain’t talk in a minute, so don’t hit me up / And I mix my feelings with prescription drugs / When I fell to my knees, you ain’t pick me up / When I was down on my back, you said I ain’t rich enough.”
Over straightforward production by DY Krazy, Durk continues to detail the ways he and his hypothetical lover have wronged each other. Check out “No Label” below.
