Lil Durk recreates classic Ye moments in “Kanye Krazy” MV

The visual arrived with the deluxe version of ‘The Voice.’

Lil Durk has paid homage to classic Kanye West moments in his video for “Kanye Krazy.”

In the clip, directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett, the Chicago rapper recreated scenes from some of Ye’s most popular music videos, including “I Love it,” “Runaway,” “Famous” and “Bound 2.”

The clip also re-enacts some of Ye’s most controversial moments, such as the infamous Taylor Swift VMAs interruption and his pro-Donald Trump phase—although Durk went with the slogan “Make OTF Great Again”.

In behind-the-scenes footage, Bennett said it was both his and Durk’s idea to recreate classic Kanye moments for the clip. “We’ve kind of perfected and recreated these moments, but also [want to] pay homage to Kanye and do it justice,” the videographer said.

“Kanye Krazy” is a new song from the newly released deluxe edition of The Voice. Other fresh tracks on the LP include collaborations with Lil Baby, Pooh Shiesty and Sydny August. The original version of The Voice was released in December 2020.
