Bankrol Hayden and Lil Baby have released a video for “Drop a Tear,” their collab from Hayden’s debut album, Pain is Temporary.
The duo head to church in the somber visual, where they rap about losing loved ones. “I almost dropped a tear for you, uh / I always throw my pain on you / My head went straight up, we confused / So many times that we’ve been traded, we’ve been used,” Hayden spits while strolling through a cemetery.
“When I was making this album, I was going through really hard times,” Hayden told Complex. “A family member was very ill. That experience made me realize that everyone in your life isn’t going to be around forever. I had to come to terms with that. Family means a lot to me, so much that I had to write ‘Drop a Tear.’”
Hayden made his debut with Pain is Temporary this June. Besides Lil Baby, the record also featured Polo G, Luh Kel and The Kid LAROI. On the other hand, Baby recently teamed up with Rod Wave on a video for “Rags2Riches 2.”
