Lil Baby, DaBaby’s “Baby” video is anything but childish

If you were expecting something G-rated, you were sorely mistaken.

The music video for “Baby” by Lil Baby and DaBaby, should be cute and whimsical, right? Wrong. The brand-new visual for the Babys’ Quality Control-facilitated collaboration is not for children or the faint of heart.

In the Daps-directed clip, Lil Baby abandons a shitty kitchen job and pulls DaBaby into a high-risk, high-reward assignment. When things go south, Lil Baby has to save his North Carolina counterpart from sadistic thugs.

“Baby” is one of several collaborative singles off Quality Control’s compilation, Control the Streets Volume 2, that drops this Friday. Other songs include “Come On” by City Girls, Saweetie and DJ Durel, and a heavy-duty introductory track with Migos, Lil Yachty and Gucci Mane.
