Lil B drops a mammoth project, ‘28 Wit a Ladder’

The BasedGod has dropped what he’s calling “a double disc mixtape.”

Lil B is known for dropping music at rapid frequencies. Between 2010 and 2015, he released at least three projects annually, and in 2018, he returned with Platinum Flame and Options. And now, he’s dropped a new 42-song project, 28 Wit a Ladder, that he’s billing as a “double disc mixtape.”

The BasedGod has strewn topical references throughout this two-hour project, as you can tell from song titles like “Gayle King” and “RIP Nipsey Hussle.” He even hops on the hip hop-country crossover bandwagon with “Cowboy Riding Horses in Illinois.”
