Kanye West’s Yandhi might’ve been shelved for life, but it seems a new Ye record is still on the way.
According to a tweet from his celebrity wife Kim Kardashian, the rapper’s new album is reportedly titled Jesus is King, and will arrive at the end of September. In a photo revealing what seems like the album’s tracklist, Ye’s new project is set to feature 12 tracks, including “Water,” a song he performed at his Coachella Sunday Service back in April. It also includes “Garden,” West’s collaboration with Ant Clemons that got leaked earlier this year. Check out the tweet below.

If it is indeed a new Kanye West record, Jesus is King will be the rapper’s ninth album and his first solo offering since last year’s Ye. In 2018, he also released Kids See Ghosts, his joint album with Kid Cudi.
Back in June, Cyhi the Prynce announced that he and West were working together on multiple albums, which he expected to drop “by the end of the summer.” There’s still a couple more weeks left, so who knows? A new Ye album might come after all. For now, fingers crossed.
