Kid Cudi has added two fresh projects to his already full plate. The rapper has announced a new album titled Entergalactic, which will soundtrack an animated Netflix series of the same name starring Cudi.
According to a Netflix press release, the series will “follow a young man on his journey to discover love.” Cudi is set to write, executive produce and star in the upcoming series made in collaboration with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris. While no release date has been given for the show or album, Cudi tweeted that fans can expect both next year.
Entergalactic will be something you've never experienced. I promise it'll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!

Entergalactic is the follow-up to Cudi’s 2016 solo LP, Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin’, and his 2018 joint album with Kanye West, Kids See Ghosts. The rapper has also signed on to star in HBO’s forthcoming series, We Are Who We Are, as well as 2020’s Bill & Ted: Face the Music, alongside Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.
