Kevin Abstract of Brockhampton unveils ‘Ghettobaby’ project

The second installment of the ‘ARIZONA baby’ album.

April 18 has arrived and Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract has, as promised, delivered the Ghettobaby EP. The project, as he revealed on Twitter, is part two of the three-part release that will all culminate into the ARIZONA baby LP.

The three tracks on Ghettobaby—“Corpus Christi,” “Baby Boy” and “Mississippi”—follow the three songs that were released on last week’s first installment of ARIZONA baby. These new cuts were, like the earlier package, produced by Jack Antonoff and fellow Brockhampton member Romil Hemnani.

Alongside the EP’s arrival, the 22-year-old artist also released an accompanying self-directed visual for “Baby Boy.” The clip starts off with a candid and heartwarming intro of two friends expressing their appreciation for each other. It also features Abstract singing from behind bars and amidst a crowd of people who act like a herd of zombies.

The last part of the ARIZONA baby album is expected to drop on April 25. In the meantime, watch the video for “Baby Boy” here:
