Kenny Mason shares new single, “Play Ball”

The song will appear on his upcoming project, ‘Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut.’

Kenny Mason has released his new single, “Play Ball.”

It dropped alongside an animated video, co-directed by Elijah Chauvin and Fabrice Mercier, that captures a bunch of bulldogs fighting over a baseball. “Look on my face said, ‘Get the fuck out my face, dawg’ / Looked at my waist, and the look on his face dropped / Ride with my strap, just to make it home safe, dawg,” he rhymes over a rock-infused beat.

“Play Ball” is Mason’s third release of the year and will appear on Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut, an extension of his 2020 LP Angelic Hoodrat. His other 2020 releases, “Partments” and “Pup,” will also appear on the upcoming release.
