Keith Ape makes grand comeback with gritty new song, “Ninja Turtle”

With a cameo from Alamo Records’ Wifisfuneral.

It’s true: Keith Ape has finally emerged from his year-long hiatus and comes bearing new music. The South Korean’s latest offering, “Ninja Turtle” featuring Wifisfuneral, dropped last Thursday via 88rising.

Produced by Brandon Finessin—who was behind Bladee’s “Lordship” and Chxpo’s “DRAGON BLOOD”—the track features Ape delivering his signature flow, which shifts between Korean and English, over a hard-hitting, goth-inspired trap beat. “Money counting, like machine, my pocket drippin’ blue cheese,” he spits.

According to a recent interview with Vogue, the 24-year-old rapper plans to drop his long-awaited debut EP on September 28. Titled Born Again, the record will feature six tracks including “Ninja Turtle,” and will be followed by a full-length album.
